Caitlin Simmers, a young surfer, emerged the winner of the World Surf League’s Boost Mobile Gold Coast Pro presented to Rip Curl.
To qualify for the final round, she was up against Molly Picklum, a tough competitor. She had also beaten Joao Chianca, Sally Fitzgibbons, and even beat Joao Chianca, a former CT surfer.
Caitlin was the 2021 U.S. Open of Surfing winner and WSL Jack’s Pro WQS. She was third in the Roxy Pro France (Challenger Series) recently.
